Neighborhood Groups (NGs) and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are the heart of our Chapter. We have nine of them! Each offers a unique opportunity for friendly support. Some groups meet in person, some meet on Zoom and some offer both meeting types. They are designed to provide a "hands on" sewing experience with other guild members where you can exchange ideas and information. Members are encouraged to participate in as many meetings as they can fit into their schedule!
If you are comfortable with sewing, please consider teaching a project or giving a demonstration at one of your NG meetings- not only is it a BIG help to your leader but our members enjoy learning from each other.
The quilt hanging below was made by and dedicated to the members of the Sew What's New Neighborhood Group that met in Sarasota. The NG disbanded in Jan 2019 due to venue changes, loss of leadership and member health issues.
